I’m almost, but not quite, feeling sorry for poor HRC. On paper (i.e., if I didn’t need to look at her or listen to her talk), she is one of the most qualified candidates and a totally unqualified but charismatic rookie is just sweeping in and taking over. But her resume would not highlight one of the worst traits about her and her husband and, for that matter, most Democrats. They really believe that we are all just children and that need parents to take care of us. Moreover, the seem themselves as being our parents and don’t know why air sickness bags are not required at Clinton rallies as spontaneously puke when she says things like this (from here speech after the Iowa caucus results):
You know, I wrote a book some years ago called ”It Takes a Village to Raise a Child,” and in it I have a chapter that I titled ”Every Child Needs a Champion.” Well, I think that the American people need a president who is their champion, and that is what I intend to be.
