Production snafus here at randomfoolishness have resulted in the last few days without posts. How fitting that I was inspired to return to my blog by the Airbus A380, the worldwide example of production snafus on the grandest scale. One of the massive airplanes landed here in Los Angeles earlier this week and while I was interested enough to watch the landing on YouTube (the plane did seem to move around a bit more than I would have thought when it touched down), there was no way that it was interesting enough to stand out by the airport to watch it in person. I guess if I worked in an office nearby, I would have gone out and tried to see it but in a few years those things are going to be landing at LAX every couple of hours so I am not sure why people felt the need to drive out there and take pictures of it. Whatever.
