Democrats and Republicans are both rudderless but not because of any real policy debate but rather because they don’t really serve any purpose other than to raise money for advertising for their own self interest.

It just goes to show that it doesn’t really matter whether Democrats or Republicans are “in charge” of Congress because they are both very capable of making themselves and our political institutions look like the sad joke that they have become.

I really like Michael Mann movies, but this movie just didn’t do it for me. I just never bought into it. It was, overall, just a very weak effort by a very good director.
